Google Practical Project Reflection

The last project we have for MIC course for this semester is Google Practical Project .The project required us to record our reflections on the weeks with some videos in the Google Blogs and to create web site where we have to explain different Google tools and display screenshots which show and illustrate how we use these tools on our daily life whether for our projects or for another things.

I believe that I have learned many things about Google and realized that it is more than just search engine and its apps help me with my projects. I always used Internet Explorer browser for my research, but after we had a session about Google Chrome browser I did not use Internet Explorer anymore because Chrome browser is faster and runs the applications quickly and I liked its amazing colored themes which I changed whenever I want. Actually, Google searching helped me in doing my researches for my projects and it eased the process of research since I did not know that there are many features for Google searching. I really like all of Google tools because each of them have different features and benefited me with my studies.

Company Profile Project

Finally we have done the presentation about commercial bank of Dubai where we have to talk about the company’s history, location and offices. Also, we have to illustrate information about its employees and mention the programs which the company set for them in term of training and learning in order to develop their skills. The project required us to make an interview with one of the company’s staff and we contacted with them online by sending our questions. The stuff was very helpful and she gave us the information about the activities which done by different departments of the bank and explained the business services of the bank. Also, she identified some of their major financial crisis and how the company acted in order to overcome these serious competitors in the region along with the problems they faced during the period of problems.

                          “I did not forget your day my dears”

Alia and Huda were my best friends on the college and I remember that their birthdays are in the same month but I became busy with college projects and did not find the time to buy gifts for them,however, I managed to deal with that.

After two days, I went to the college early and put the gifts under their disks before they come to the college. They were surprised and thanked me and felt happy and hug them. I want this gift to be as a memory of beautiful years we spent it together because it is our last year in the collage where we usually meet each other.

National Day 39

Every year, I participated in National day celebrations whether on the college or outside. Our college was decorated by colors of the United Arab Emirates flag and it started the celebration by singing the national anthem of UAE in the auditorium.

I went with my family to heritage village where we saw the traditional dances and we spent a great time there and ate the traditional foods as well

Tala Wedding

Yesterday was my brother wedding and all of my family members were happy because for about 6 years no one from my house gets married.

The wedding took place in Ewan hotel in Sharjah and this is a picture of the stage of the couple

Busy Week

We had a case study presentation about Zara Fashion Company for marketing management course. We have to read the case carefully and identify the major issues or problems of the case in order to solve the questions related to the case. Then we have to write a report which explains the case of Zara in depth.

My colleague and I were staying at the college until 8:00 pm in order to prepare the presentation and write down the report.

At the same week, we had the Mock Job Interviews which our college arranged for all year 3 students so as to prepare us for the real work environment. Before the interview I felt a little nervous, but when I entered the hall I felt comfortable and I was able to answer almost all the interview questions except one question which is related to the marketing and I answered it without being sure of  the correct answer. Generally, it was a wonderful experience for me because now I knew how to behave when I have an interview in the future and recognized the important of being prepared for it.

It Is Your Day

This time Eid Al Adha happen on the same day of my sister birthday. My sisters and I planned to make a surprise for her and celebrate on this happy occasion.

First of all, we ordered for a cake and write her name on it

Then we gave her gifts which consisted of perfumes, bags, watches and wallets. She was very happy and started to hug each one of us after that we invited her for dinner .we let her to choose the restaurant which she prefers to eat from it because it was surely her day.

Crazy Girl

While I was chatting with my friends in the BlackBerry my childhood friend Mayram surprised me because it is the first time she visit me without informing me and it was a long time that we did not see each other although we are in the same college.

We started to chat about our studies and different issues after that we went to the kitchen to prepare the dinner and we spent a wonderful time with each other.

 Before she leaves she asked me to look for a book which she forgot it on my room a month ago and I started to search for it. Suddenly I saw a Nikon camera which I wanted to buy it and she knew that and bought it for me. I was very happy but felt embarrass since there is no occasion of this gift.

My Lovely FJ

Last week, I went with my sisters and brothers to Al Fujairah and we spent a great time there I like to go to Al Fujairah in order to enjoy the beautiful natural views and taking photos of high mountains.

While we were sitting in front of Khorfkan beach my older brother suggested us to ride the cruiser in order to change the routine of playing with the sand only.

My Summer Holiday

Last summer, I want with my brother, sisters and cousins to Thailand and this was my first visit to it. The first day for me there was a terrible day because I was sick and couldn’t go out with them and a great thank for my sister, who stayed with me and took care of me.

After two days I felt well and we want to the Dream World where we enjoy our time by playing and taking photos

         
Also, we went to Safari where the animals such as seals, monkeys and horses were display interesting and amazing shows and I took pictures for some animals

After we spent an exciting week in Bangkok, we went to Chiangmai Island and we stayed there for about three days only in meridian hotel. There were several programs that the hotel arranged for us and the most wonderful trip I had is to the World of elephants.
